Album Description:
We drove down to the gulf coast to help out with animal rescue efforts. 9/12 thru 9/19/05. The fairgrounds made a great place to house the animals. EARS (Emergency Animal Rescue Service) had set up a site there.

Wow I can't imagne what you went throught trying to rescue so many animals. It just brings tears to my eyes when I think of the animals left behind in such tragic circumstances. Thank goodness there are people like you in this world to try to make it a better place, especially for the animals. I live in Cochrane Alberta Canada and even our small community took in some of the Katrna pets. Some went to Calgary and some to Edmonton. It's hard not to be touched by such an event.
