Hey! Been a fan of your pix for awhile - you did a vet rep album that was beautiful. This is a beautiful album as well...I also enjoy your albums of Italy. This album brings back some good memories for me; I spent a little time on a destroyer tender in the 80s. I miss it every day. Thanks for chronicling your Navy experience and sharing it with the rest of us. I look forward to seeing more of you stuff as you add to your portfolio...you are truly talented, and certainly have an eye for a good photo...ttfn!

Hi Marie. Now I've spent time going through the album, I know more about the background of the two challenge shots. This is a wonderful collection, inspirational and filled with pride and respect for those who serve. My late father was in the Canadian Navy and my husband was too, for a shorter time period. Needless to say, I grew up around ships and still love to look at them. ~ Brenda

Ciao Marie! What a beautiful documentation you have here! I saw also the photo with you and Nika, and I remembered the beautiful days spent at Montecatini. Great photos, dear friend. Hugs, Renato.

Greetings navywashington02, Just found your album and want to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Being a military brat I respect and admire all that you guys do for our country. Ya'll are a good looking bunch not to mention how sharp ya'll look in your uniforms. Hugs from Linda, Fort Worth, Texas

Hey Marie, Thanks for checking out the 2005 County Fair (Spokane). The enlisteds uniforms have changed somewhat over the years. In the early 70's they were changing from the chambrey shirt and bell bottom dungerees to a more modern 'Dickie' appearence. Now you have coveralls, interesting. I see the Whites have gone away from the 13 button bellbottoms to more of the officer type pant. The cap, jumper top and tropical white tops look the same. What about the dress blues? More of a suit look or similar to the whites? Of course there weren't any women on the ships back then either, with the exception of the hospital ship I was on with the nurses and doctors. Nice album, thanks for sharing, Mike
