trying to locate info John Papineau, fa: John Mo: Josephine Larefel, born in Canada, from this reunion came John, b. 1833, founder, of city on Lake Charlevoix in Michigan, exceellent fisherman, hunter, and great-grandfather, he fought the Mormons who settled on Beaver Island, He had a sister and bro Twins Richard. I cannot find much info and Marietta, who maarried a Captain and was one of the founding families of the area. I am also looking for Naum Robinson from Walton Center, whos daughter married John Papineau and whho sent as many as 9 daughters to our area. All were happily wed they were church women who helped much.

My husband is also a Papineau descendant. His ggmother was Henriette (Hattie) Papineau who married in 1874. What a wonderful use of Webshots. You have done a great job!
