I am in shocked by the devastation, we are very fortunate in South Africa to miss all the ugly traumas of the tropics. Except the wind in Cape Town....(not a fraction of what you experience!)

Wow! I perused these pictures of the hurricane. That must have been scary. And it looks like a lot of work to clean up. Hope all is well. - ray in Sacramento/CA

Hi, Cleo, You were indeed my first!! Don't tell anyone will you. Thank you for your comments. Yes Sian is a good friend to both me and my wife and we love her to bits. She still has a way to go to match our Airedale, Rusty, who died, aged 13, 6 yrs. ago. But then, just like we humans, the differences have a charm of their own and SHOULD make for a happier world, eh. Take care, Nils.

I just cannot believe that nobody else has commented on this devastation, that has affected you poor souls, thankfully I can feel the spirit and will to beat the problems you now face. I am sur that you will,Our thoughts as indeed they were all the time Emily was blowing, was one of concern for your safety, We saw what a hurricane had done to Grenada, in Feb so can fully understand the extent of damage, again our thoughts are with you, May god bless and keep you all safe. My poor little love bug, what a mess Carolynn and I have just viewed this horror, the only comsolation is exactly what your last picture caption said, you are ALIVE. If only it was possible for us to come and help with the mess. I will talk later, we at least have time, I did put in your guest book that you were evacuating, for your feature, I am sure everybody knew but I thought it would help for those that did not I will leave you to the devastation, please do not feel obliged to answer this straight away, you have far more important things to do, lots of bug hugs to keep you warm as always your friends in England Ken and Carolynn.
