  • Thank you for sharing your fine pictures. Isn't it amazing what can be done today to bring to life on the web one's roots! And thank you for signing my guestbook. The world is getting smaller every day; we can now reach out to the far corners of the earth without even leaving our rooms. It's great to be alive!

  • Thankyou for your comments on our Lithuania albums. It seems unusual that the nuns had to escape from the Germans, because they had no religious persecution, but it was different with the Russians who were in the country prior and after WW11. Your albums are very well arranged and managed. I am a Lithuanian now living in Australia.

  • thanks for writing in my guest book. I like your photos, but was specially interested that you included your natal chart! As I am an astrologer, I found this a very interesting idea. You might know that people draw the charts in different ways. I have noted your details and will look at it in my astrology program Send me your email address and we will be in touch I might think of putting my own chart up after seeing this. Seems you are French Canadian? I have a great love of France and Paget ancestors (on my mother's side) were Norman French way back Dad's were Irish, so I am very Celtic. Great to make your acquaintance!

  • My great-grandmother is Philomene Brousseau, I believe she is the daughter of Louis (Augustine) Brousseau and Leocadie Bourgeois. Seems Phebe's brother Louis also lived in the New Hampshire area. He later came to Connecticut. They also came from Canada. My great-grandparents George Messier/Macia and Phebe married in Massachusetts in 1867.

  • Cheryll, none of our living relatives knew ALICE TREMBLAY, so we have very little information about her. Could you get in touch with me at: lineage42@hotmail.com, please. I have researched the TREMBLAY lineage but I haven't had the time to get to the Baie-Saint-Paul church registries; therefore, I have no info re: Alice's sibblings. Do get in touch, please.

  • mmegiselle, I tried leaving a message on your Webshots page, but you haven't set it up to receive any, so I hope you return here. Re: the significance of the TREMBLAY Crest, I've checked the TREMBLAY Association site & have noticed that they only have the description in French with no specific explanation. I've sent them an email &, should they be able to explain the Crest in English, I'll post the information here. Sorry for having to go round-about to get in touch with you. Of course, your messages & comments are most welcome at any time. Muriel
