  • I was a telegraphist, who was lucky enough to have done tours on marine craft. My first station with MC was 1124 MCU Seletar where I was a stand-in w/op. 1962-63. My next time was Mountbatten and Tenby 67-68, Muharraq 69, and then detached to Lossiemouth early 70's and then posted Alness 71 - 73. Although Alness was in the wilds and very delapidated, it was the best posting I had.
