I WAS A TANK COMMANDER ON A SHERIDAN IN VIETNAM. IT IS SAD TO SEE THESE TANKS IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SCRAPYARD.

I was with F-Troop 17th Cav,196th L.I.B. around Chu Lai,Tam Ky area 69-70.My view of Viet Nam was from a seated position on the open loaders hatch. Sheridans had alot of bugs but our crew survived.

I served on these from 1980 to 1983 and was in the 4/68 and 3/73 Armor at Fort Bragg. It's a shame these are not being kepted up very well but the photos bring me back.

I was with 4/68th - 3/73rd from 1976-1983 as a mechanic. Boy what a pain to work on but loved to run em wide open. (Range 79 cost me too many hours of lost sleep.) They where ours!
