  • I am Looking for info on Ingalls-Shepard in Harvey. I can find Wyman Gorden, Ingalls was a division of it. My father Andrew Dekens worked there for 40 years, I would love a picture or info on the company. Andrea dekens cowser

  • I had an after-school job at the drugstore across from the bank. Lund's in the photo. It was called Dalton Drug when I was there (1952-1954). The pharmacist was a 75-year old German, Edward Emil Luken. He, his wife and her two sisters shared an apartment across the street. His wife was Odelia. One sister, Sue LaCrosse, also worked in the store. The other, Hariett LaCrosse was the charismatic third-grade teacher many of us enjoyed at Washington School.
