  • Had already viewed this album earlier today but wanted to add my Belated Congratulations on your Featured Album..I read all the books I can find about Iwo because of my Uncle Buddy Brin..I was only 7 1/2 when he was killed in action..His son George Brin lives in Pipe Creek TX..wonder if he knew about the Re-enactment ?..Thanks again for sharing these wonderful Re-enactment albums & tribute to all of those who gave their lives on Iwo for our Freedom..God Bless from Celina,TX...Ken

  • A very belated Congratulations on this awesome Featured Album..I ran across it & got my interest as my Uncle Buddy Brin was killed on Iwo Feb 28th 1945..Iwas out of town when this album was Featured but wanted to add my Thanks for such an awesome Tribute to all those who gave their lives for our Freedom..God's Blessings from Celina TX...Ken

  • "Nice job" with the pictures and, of course, the "show" battle reenactment. I don't think there were many smiles at the battle 60 years ago, and the average age of the participants then was so much younger than the reenactors, but this effort to understand history by pseudo participation is worthwhile for the actors and audience. For those of us who never experienced combat, myself included, the real horror of war can still only be imagined. ~~~~Bob

  • What a fantastic reenactment. This gives us a color view of what things were like, to a great degree. Of course we all know the carnage and intensity would be more vivid in reality, but this shows us some of the style. Very nice feature for this Memorial Day. Alan

  • Hello!!, I looked at your album" Home Page" the photos are very beautiful and the holds of views also!!, you have knew to make a good choice in the opportunity to photograph the picture that you wanted shown us!!, Congratulations!! <bonpapabobonne@ho tmail.com>...Belgi um.. besides, it is not necessary to forget what the soldiers have to stand it for this mound of" Iwo Jima" ever and without forgetting that there is some again had others mound!!, and he/it is well that several people redo simile of that that happened (10 and even 100 times more intense than one will never know how to show it)!! because he/it misses the ambiance and the stress of these men, 24hrs on 24!!; beautiful photos and good shots of the set of the demonstration of this fact of weapons widely-known!!, regards, Richard, Belgium,
