    • Numbah one GI! Sweet! I was at Balad during y'alls tenure, civie base firefighter, and I appreciate every bit of what you folks did for our country. I had a choice to be there, and got to decide when I wanted to come home. I am an airplane nut, and model builder, and I wanted to thank y'all for being so nice and accomodating in allowing me to take pictures. Weimer took me and a buddy out one day and let us shoot 471 and 428, and most of the rest of the squadron, plus we got a couple of flags flown. Awesome! I have a company that makes decals for model airplanes, and the very first sheet we are doing is the 421st. 421, 471, 509 and 512.
