guess it does pay to browse - thanks so much for the photos of "HOME". and yes, they are slowly disappearing from the landscape which is a shame - i can still recall as a child putting a penny on the tracks every friday night as the train was going through - that was our BIG excitement for the week. Even though i am not in the area any longer,home is still home and i want to thank you again for allowing for a bit of nostalgia.God Bless...

A couple of years ago, I was researching the web for photos of Saskatchewan grain elevators. Yours came up and I downloaded quite a few then. With each passing year this album is becoming a gold mine. For anyone not growing up on the prairies, it would be nothing more than a blip on the screen of history but for you and me it is tragedy to see these all gone. I former junior highschool teacher took a year off in 2005 and toured the entire province taking pictures of these relics. Unfortunately, he is not connected to internet.
