My Husbands grandfather, James (Jimmy) Large, used to launch the Brancaster Lifeboat from Brancaster beach with timber rollers and a horse. This is a lovely album , which brought back many memories for my Husband, who spent his childhood in Brancaster Staithe. His Uncle, Albert Smalls was the Baker in Brancaster in the 1950's. Very Best wishes,

I have been sent your web site address by Edward Pank I am also in contact with David Parker. Great Uncle Vincent used to visit my family at Horningtoft often his first wife was sister to my Granddad Thomas HAMMOND. I did not know her, only his second wife Bessie who used to drive him over to my home. Many pictures I have never seen before. Great.

I think your old pics are wonderful, I have photos of Acle in the early 1900s too. Maybe I should put them on my website! http://website.lineone.net/~tessa Well done on a great site!
