  • Ohhhhhh Luc! You are so superb!!!!!I love the way you personalize history lessons and bring them alive! I am still aching with laughter at 'Hell In Winter' ohhhhhh it hurts my behind just to think of it!!!Poor darlings having to trek out there in a blizzard! You'd be lucky to make it !!!!!!How I love all of the service and crafts people ......hooted to see gossip lady!!!!!!!!!hehehehe every village has one!I LOVE the houses and their amazingly quaint little rooms and I suppose it would not be uncommon in those days ( I presume many would be French Catholic?) to have huge families!Imagine if that were true queing up for the 'Hell Hole' in the middle of the night!I bet it happened.Loved the baker and the bakery! All are totally gorgeous and stunning photographs ....typical 'Kligon'- Congratulations on another utterly fabulous ,entertaining, enjoyable,h umourous, beautifully photographed album....and you know me.....I just had to download the geese they are adorable! Luc how and where do you find these wonderful ,wonderful places? By the way I watched a program the other night on our amazing child photographer, Anne Geddes and Celine Dion who teamed up to produce a magnificent book and C.D combining Anne's photography and Celines voice singing Lullabys should be an unforgetable experience to immerse oneself in....I am on the lookout here ,I think that it has only just been released! My Love and warmest wishes ,Lynne

  • Hi Luc, This is a beautiful trip through history, and Im glad you gave me a chance to see it so well. There are many of these colonial villages open for visitors in this area too, and I do enjoy visiting them. Your photos gave me a wonderful view of another one. Thanks. Mike

  • Hi Luc! I just had the most relaxing moment of the day! I put your album on the slideshow and enjoyed every photo in it. I laughed when you included "The Gossip Lady" and I loved the expression on the teacher's face on the girls' side of the school. Your captions were great. Lots of good chuckles and even some memories. You included one of the buildings where they made homemade soap. Well, my Mom used to make homemade soap every summer and I managed to stay out of the house as much as possible on those days--the odor was much too strong for me! Thanks so much for the journey and also thanks for the kind comments in my new Animal Fascination album. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Sharon

  • Bonjour Luc!

  • Cher Luc, like almost all of your albums, this one is again beautiful and interesting, with lots of humour added into the collection. A trip in time that I thoroughly enjoyed. It makes me regret that I didn7' visit earlier, though I have noticed it. My compliments for this wonderful idea of bringing to life, for all of us, things of times gone forever. My husband and I wish to thank you for your visit and always graceful messages you leave at our guestbooks, no further than the one for our latest featured album. We wish to say that we highly appreciate your visits and comments.Friendly greetings from Gabriela and Yoshiyuki Tanaka.

  • A fascinating album! It seems that every house is for a craftsperson or tradesman. Ah, for the simpler times. Helen from southern California

  • Bonjour Luc! Bye, Michel
