  • Brings back a LOT of memories; some good=some bad. I was a port & beach clearance truck driver and dispatcher on the docks, albeit some time after you were there. All in all, not a bad experience-beautiful area. Mike Austing 592d Trans Co May '70-Apr '71

  • great photo's...I am doing some research on the 558th TFS to see if I can get information about my uncle, Capt. Edward Lapierre. He was KIA on June 12, 1967. He flew F4c 64-0662. Trying to find anyone who knew him or served with him. Thank you.

  • Roger Great Pics & Website. I was stationed at CRB Jun 67 & 68. I was an A1C; worked in Administration Section & Comander's Office (Col Otter & Col Wheaton)at the Super Hootch, 2nd Floor. Was in charge of all of the forms, publications, TDY Orders and goofer for the Command Section. Our Hootch was the last Hootch Last Row all the way to the end as you headed for the shitter and shower. My Hootch Budies (Denis Palmer was a 902 but can't remember if he was on ward 7 or 6, then we also had NCOIC of Pharmacy we called Mac and two Lab Tech's (Andy & Rue) plus a couple more Admin 906's). You have done a great job with CRB 12 USAF Hospital history. It would had been nice if the 12th USAF Hospital had sometype of reunion over the past 30 plus years. I'm hoping to scan some of my slides and will send you copies. I remember the outdoor movies and the nice beach, plus all of those cold showers. I separated from the USAF when I left Vietnam, but came back into the USAF in 1971, 12 years as Medical Admin and 13 years as Mental Health, No regrets. Hope to hear from you.
