    • To nammy2003- I am the son of a chief motor mac who was on the LST 66 (Coast Guard). What was your father-in-laws name? I am writing the LST 66's ship's history, already have interviewed over 15 of the original surviving WWII crew and officers.

    • Thanks for the photos, our family burried my father in-law a WWII Navy Vet. this past week. He served on the LST 66 (?) sorry, my husband knows more about it I'm Air Force. Any ways I really like the Helicopters and hotels.

    • Thank You for your comments cangel1029, however, it is not listed "AS" the stennis, it is listed as FROM my visit to see my husband ON the "Stennis in Seattle", if you notice there is a set with the same name. We, or friends, took these while there. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

    • The picture of the ship in Seattle is listed as the Stennis, which is an aircraft carrier. The ship in the picture is not the stennis. I just thought you would want to know.
