Welcome to my photo albums. I am Frank Ereneta (screen name: TetVet68) of San Diego, California. My father is "Navy Centenarian Sailor" Chief Warrant Officer Julio "Jay" Ereneta, Naval Flight Officer, Radio Electronics, Aviation, USN (Ret.), active duty; 18 February 1919 to 1 May 1949. He is one of the few remaining veterans of World War One and World War Two. Ereneta was the first ever "Centenarian Sailor" selected and featured by the Bureau of Naval Personnel in its world-wide quarterly publication, July-September 2002 issue of "Shift Colors." For a more detailed biographical summary, see: <http://www.qrz.com/callsign/W6ZOM>. I hope you enjoy the photo images. I intend to continue to digitize and post other photos. Please visit this site again. You are welcome to correspond via eMail with me and my father. Please leave at least a brief comment here in the guestbook. To Julio and Frank, And I thought I was an "old" hand in the Communications business (well at least compared to today's young ones) having been the COMMO on board USS CIMARRON (AO 177) back in 1984. My hat's off to you, CWO Ereneta. It was your generation and my Dad's (he joined the USN in the Philippines back in 1945) that made it possible for the rest of us (I retired from the Navy August 2003) to accomplish what we are accomplishing now. Thanks and BZ!!! Bob Morales, San Diego CA. (rcmorales@yahoo.com)
